Verdelho
Depending on the prevailing climatic conditions, the varietal character ranges from grassy, spicy, with apple overtones to hints of tropical fruit and honeysuckle. The grape is the same as the Spanish Verdejo, which produces citric, herbaceous and, when aged in barrels, nutty wines.
